I Like My Coffee...Like I Like My Man

I like my coffee
Like I like my man

Black
Strong
Robust
Full of flavor
Lively
Deep
Vibrant
Hot
Steamy
With more caffeine
Than a drug dealer

That wakes my senses
And brings me alive

I like my coffee
Like I like my man
Exotic
Addictive
Potent
Lingering in my thoughts
Long after the initial introduction

Sturdy
Balanced
With definition
And variety
Chameleon like
Having the ability
To blend in any environment
Yet never looses it originality
Nor its essence

I like my coffee
Like I like my man
Giving me the “lift” I need
To make it through the day
Under any circumstance
So addictive, that I find myself
Wanting…..needing
Just a taste of him
Several times a day

I like my coffee
Like I like my man
First thing in the morning
After a shower
And sometimes before
To “wake” up my senses
And bring me alive
To journey on my way

Black
Strong
Robust

Vibrant

Yeah......
That’s how I like him.

If I were a Word I’d want wings like birds and unicor...
